Firmware News!

New Firmware is sometimes required to play some of the new BD titles, if you are experiencing difficulty in playing certain new releases, then it may be worth making sure your player is up to date with the latest software upgrade from the original manufacturer.

The latest version firmware for the Pioneer BDP-LX71 is Version 1.25a. Firmware for Pioneer BDP-LX70A is version 3.38 these can be downloaded via the Pioneer website using disc based upgrade method. We can also supply a update disc if you are unable to connect to the internet, but this must be used at your own risk to player

Firmware for Sony BDP-S300 is version 3.90

Firmware for Sony BDP-S500 is version 3.70
