Firmware News!
New Firmware is sometimes required
to play some of the new BD titles, if you are experiencing
difficulty in playing certain new releases, then it may
be worth making sure your player is up to date with the
latest software upgrade from the original manufacturer.
The latest version firmware for the
Pioneer BDP-LX91 is Version 2.58. these can be downloaded
via the Pioneer website using disc based or ethernet upgrade
method. We can also supply a update disc if you are unable
to connect to the internet, but this must be used at your
own risk to player

pioneer to help with new discs with BD Java like 2012, should
help with some upgrades... we are working on new solution
for the latest panasonic bluray players for ABC conversion
December '09: latest firmware
from pioneer is causing problems with some upgrades... we
have developed a work-around solution for the BDP-LX52,
so even if you have updated your player to latest version,
we can still install our upgrade without compromising future
updates
